Jacob Bigler Rites at Oakland Church
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Oakland Church of the Brethren, north of Gettysburg for Jacob Bigler, 80, of R R 1, Bradford. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery at Versailles. Rev. Earl Hostetter will officiate
Mr. Bigler died at 11:50 pm Sunday at Wayne Hospital in Greenville following a three years illness. Mr. Bigler whose farm was 1 1/2 miles north of Horatio had spent his entire life in that area and was a member of the Oakland Church of the Brethren. His parents were the late Cyrus and Lydia Low Bigler.
Surviving are his wife, Ida; a daughter, Mrs. Emery Brandt of Webster; one grandson; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Stover of Bradford; one foster grandchild; a brother, Charles Stover of Bradford; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Burns of RR2 Versailles and a half-brother, Ray Bigler of RR1 Bradford.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral home, Greenville, after noon Tuesday and until noon Wednesday when the body will be taken to the church for the services
