Kenneth L Davis

Kenneth L. Davis, 96 of Greensburg passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Kenneth was born in Drake County, Ohio, on April 9, 1916, the son of Walter and Onda Davis. He graduated from high school in 1935 from Franklin Township. He married Ruby Jean Earnest in Winchester, Indiana on July 17, 1935 and she preceded him in death in 1985. 
Kenneth worked at Arvin for 22 years until his retirement in 1979. He also was a farmer all of his life. He had a membership in the Tractor and Farming Club and loved Massey Harris Tractors.
Kenneth is survived by his son Larry (Judy) Davis of Greensburg, his sister Nelda Small of West Milton, Ohio, his brother Gerald Davis of Bradford, Ohio, 25 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruby, one son- K.L. Davis, two grandsons- Larry L. Davis Jr. and Terry Davis, one Great Granddaughter- Sara Venable, one sister Aureda McKibben and one niece Emily McKibben. 
There will be a visitation for family and friends at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8 from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Service 12PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
