SCHIPPER, SHELA ANN (FRADY) - Shela Ann (Frady) Schipper of Colorado Springs, CO, since 2009, formerly a long-time resident of Troy, passed away on June 29, 2011. She was born November 12, 1952. She was a 1971 graduate of Milton-Union High School and remained close friends with many of her classmates. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Juanita Frady and her sister Sandra (Netherly) Frady. She is survived by her sons, Adam Schipper of Lebanon, Nate Schipper (wife Tina) of Colorado Springs, Co; sisters, Angi Elder (husband Kenneth) of Kettering, and Anita Smith (husband Doug) of West Milton; brother Michael Frady (wife Wendy) of Ansonia, and numerous nieces and nephews. A nature lover to her core, she loved her dogs, flowers, hiking, reading and her family and friends. Her kindness, unique outlook, and sense of humor are greatly missed by all who knew her and love her still. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton with Pastor Curt Duncan officiating, burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
