PIERCE, SHIRLEY A. (nee: NETH) - Shirley A. Pierce, 77, of West Milton, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home. She was born May 20, 1933, in Troy. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Neth; mother Flora (McConnell) Earley; step-father, Kenneth Earley; daughter, Marla Kay; and grandson, Tim Best. Shirley is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald E. Pierce of West Milton; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Rosie Pierce of Clinton, Ind., Donald and Carol Pierce of Houston; daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Doug Best of Union City, Lisa and Sam Coy of Bradford; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Neth of Troy; and special friends, Tom and Nancy Smith, Phil and Linda Iddings, Ellen Young and Kent Klepinger. Graveside services were held June 14 at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton, with Pastor John Johansen officiating. Arrangements by the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton.
