BUSCH, PAUL D. - Paul D. Busch, 71, of Laura, died May 28,
2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital after a fight with cancer. He was born in
Dayton the son of Paul A. and Alease E. (McClellan) Busch. He was a U. S.
Navy veteran, having served three tours in Vietnam and receiving the Purple
Heart. He was retired after working many years in auto dealerships and
later self-employed doing home repair and remodeling. He was a member and
trustee of Potsdam Missionary Church. Paul is survived by his wife of 42
years, Judy (South) Busch; two sons, Donnie Busch of West Milton, Brian and
Tami Busch of Virginia; two daughters, Glenda Miles of Beavercreek, Teresa
Parmenter of Troy; sister, Judy and Keith Rueckel of Port Charlotte, Fla.;
sister-in-law, JoAnn and Roger Achtermann of Franklin; 12 grandchildren, one
great-grandchild; special nieces, nephews and cousins, including Linda and
Larry Jones of Englewood; special friends, Trent and D'Ann Runkle of Ludlow
Falls, Eddie Isaacs of West Milton, Jerry Pierce of Laura, Linda Rush of
Potsdam and Terry Zellers of Laura. He was preceded in death by his parents
and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held June 3 at Potsdam
Missionary Church in Potsdam and burial at Ludlow Cemetery with military
honors at the graveside. Arrangements by Hale Sarver Funeral Home, West
Milton.
