DAPORE, JOSEPHINE J. - Josephine J. Dapore, 96, of
Covington, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Upper Valley Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 1, 1913 in Darke County to Noble and Hazel (Trittschue)
Miller. Josephine is survived by her son, James and Marlene Dapore of Tipp
City; daughter, Pamela and Dean Schaffer of Covington; two grandchildren,
Heath Knouff of Troy, Heather and Kris Alexander of Covington; two
great-grandchildren, Megan and Nathan Alexander; and other relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Zola
(Smiley) Miller; husband, Bernard J. Dapore in 1984; brother, Rodney Miller
and sister, Betty Burnette. Funeral services were held June 15 at the
Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor John Shelton
officiating. Interment was in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
