DAVIDSON, THOMAS EVAN - Thomas Evan Davidson, 82 of Tipp City, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at home, following a lengthy illness.Tom was a Navy veteran of World War II and an electrical engineer who worked for many years for General Motors.　He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Winifred Coates Davidson; daughter, Melinda Davidson Cole; son-in-law, Donald Richard Cole; grandson, Evan Thomas Donald Cole, all of Tipp City; sister, Jean Hutzell; nieces, Carol (Rick) Lewellen, Gail (Gary) Possert and their families.  He was a loving, gentle, kind man who will be terribly missed by his wife and family. Services were held Jan. 11 at Westminister Presbyterian Church, Dayton.　In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tom's honor to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
