KOEHLER, PAMELA ANNE (MARLEY) -Pamela Anne (Marley) Koehler went home to the Lord on Monday, December 22, 2008 in Vandalia, Ohio.  She would have been 84 on January 4th.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Philip W. Koehler; their son, Philip Anthony Koehler; and her sisters Elaine Babka and Joan Marley.  Pam was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio to Anthony and Julia (Slezak) Marley.  She met her husband, a career naval officer, while working at a defense plant during WWII.  After postings in Paris, France, and Coronado, California, Pam and Phil moved to Hawaii in 1958, where they happily remained when Phil retired in 1964.  Pam was a member of the Realtors Association of Hawaii, working with Mike McCormick and with Liz Benton Realtors.  Pam was a founding member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aiea, Hawaii where for more than 40 years she provided beautiful and creative floral arrangements week by week.  She and her husband were staunch supporters of the Lutheran Schools of Hawaii.  Pam was an avid bowler in her early years, and was honing her Wii bowling skills up to the end.  Even after returning to the mainland in 2002, Pam remained a Hawaiian at heart.  She had attended Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City, Ohio, since her return.  She is survived by her children, Tinker Eddinger (Jack Bel Isle) of HI, Paige Price (James) of WA, Prescott Koehler (Maria) of FL, and Peri Bonner (Jerry) of OH; and by her grandchildren, Kelli Anne Smotherman, Wendy Jo Lauren (Mike), Kyle Anthony Bonner, Adam John Bonner, and Zachary Philip Bonner.  Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aiea, Hawaii.  Private interment to follow at Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery in Honolulu, HI.  Donations in her memory may be made to either of the following: Our Savior Lutheran Church, 98-1098 Moanalua Rd.
