Tipp City Independent Voice

ENGLISH, JANET LYNN - Janet Lynn English, age 66, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully January 20, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born December 22, 1942 in Troy, Ohio. Janet was a 1960 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and attended Taylor University in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Evan English; mother, Dorothy (Stump) English; and brother, Fred English. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Deen-Payne of Arlington, Texas; grandson, Rafael Evan English Payne; brothers, Ron (Paula) English of Tipp City, Ohio; and Tom (Doris) English of Morrow, Ohio; sister-in-law, Nancy English of Tipp City; as well as many nieces and nephews. She had been loyal to the Central State University Library for over 30 years and retired in 2007 as its Director of Circulation. A memorial service was held January 23, 2009 at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia, Ohio. Burial will be at the conveniences of the family at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio.
