ORA ARNETT -Ora Arnett, 84, of Tipp City, formerly of Dayton died Wednesday, Jan. 14 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born Feb. 25, 1924 in Salyersville, Ky. to Burnie and Lavinia (Anderson) Arnett. Ora was retired from Delco Products, a World War II Veteran he served in Patton's Army; member of the Beavercreek VFW; a group leader for the neighborhood watch; former president and member of the Delco Retirement Club; Greene County Fish and Game member; and was honored to be a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and four sisters. Ora is survived by his wife of 62 years Edna Arnett; son, Terry and Vicki Arnett, Tipp City; sister, Geraldine (Marvin Ray) Adams, Salyersville, Ky.; grandchildren, Shelley and Frank Stewart, Tipp City and Alan and Shannon Arnett, Tipp City; great-grandchildren, Evan and Arielle Arnett; Calli and Braden Stewart and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Services were held Jan. 19 at Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Townsend officiating with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Intensive Care Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center for all their wonderful care.
