BEESON, WARREN LEE - Warren Lee Beeson, 87, of Troy, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born May 5, 1921 in Miami County the son of J. Howard and Birdie (Brenner) Beeson.  He was a 1939 graduate of Tippecanoe schools.  Mr. Beeson was a Sunday school teacher, youth advisor and choir member with the Nashville Congregational Christian Church and the Cove Spring Church.  This year he served in the Grange Fair Kitchen with four generations of his family.  He was a 4-H advisor and a charter member of the Board of Directors for Indian Hills 4-H Camp.  He was a member of the Miami County Jersey Breeders and an exhibitor at the Miami County Fair.  He was a host for educational tours for 20 years and also hosted exchange students from Finland, Japan and Argentina.  He was a Miami County farmer and former Miami East school bus driver.  He was retired from Stull Implements.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years Doris (Lesher) Beeson; daughters and son-in-law, Patty Taynor of Troy, Phyllis and Raymond Bair of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Claudia Beeson of Findlay; eight grandchildren, Jenny and Robert Sharp of Troy, Cheryl and Phil Greenlee of Bidwell, Anita and Doug Csikos of Troy, David and Annette Bair of Troy, Mark and Stacey Bair of Lewisburg, Ryan Beeson of Findlay, Andrie and Ryan Grooms of Holland, Kelsey and Brad Heltkamp of Van Buren; 17 great grandchildren; and special family friend Kay Amrhein.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice Iro Beeson and Lillie Madaline Earhart; and one son-in-law, Herb Taylor.  Funeral services were held today at Baird Funeral Home with pastors Evan Garber and Ed Beeson officiating.  Burial followed at Casstown Cemetery.
