STUDEBAKER, SAMUEL S. JR. - Samuel S. Studebaker Jr., 84, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008.  He was born Dec. 22, 1923, in Troy, the son of the late Samuel Sr. & A. Marie (Shroyer) Studebaker.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.  He was a 4-H adviser for more than 25 years.  He was a supervisor with the Miami County Soil & Water Conservation District.  He was on the Miami County Planning Commission and Bethel Township Zoning Board.  He worked the family farm his whole life.  He is survived by a daughter, Sara (Susie) Studebaker and her husband, Jim Salamon, of Loveland; a sister, Nancy and Marvin Lynch of Bethel Township; a brother, John (Abe) and JoAnne Studebaker of Richland, Mich.; aunt, Patty Dinsmore of Indianapolis, Ind.; uncle, Walter Shroyer of Cincinnati; stepchildren, Terry, Barb, Dan and Becky Swaisgood; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Norma Jean (Martin) and Pauline (Wise) Studebaker; and a son, Larry Studebaker.  Funeral services were held Tuesday in the funeral home, with Ralph Royce officiating.  Burial followed in New Carlisle Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Flight, 300 E.
