KREMER, MARTHA A. (NEE: BENANZER) - Martha A. Kremer, 87, of Versailles died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008. She was born Jan. 28, 1921 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio to the late Joseph C. and Gertrude (Behr) Benanzer of Ft. Loramie. She was a homemaker and member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and Holy Family Catholic Church in Frenchtown. She was also a member of the St. Anne Sodality and a former member of the funeral choir at St. Denis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sebastian Kremer whom she married on June 13, 1946; granddaughter, Evelyn Broering; brother, Paul Benanzer; sisters, Elizabeth Metz; Frances DeBrosse; sisters, Agnesine Benanzer and Helen Glynn. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jeanette and Gene Brunswick of Celina; Eileen and Carl Hess of Caledonia; Vivian and Gerry Wyen of Tipp City; Alice and Charles of Versailles; Richard Kremer of Versailles; Bonita and Ralph Seger of Greenville, Diana and Kenneth Bohman of Versailles and Mark and Doris Kremer of Versailles; 27 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Mark J. Kremer of St. Henry and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 17 at St. Denis Catholic Church. Burial in Holy Family Church Cemetery, Frenchtown, Ohio. Contributions may be sent to Darke County Cancer Assoc. or Versailles Emergency Medical Services. Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
