SHROYER, MARLEY K. - Marley K. Shroyer, 79, of New Carlisle
passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008. He was born Feb. 26, 1928 in New
Carlisle the son of the late Bert & Viola (Musselman) Shroyer. He was a
member of the First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle, Past President of
Ohio Farm & Power Equipment Retailers Assoc. and was in the equipment
business since 1939. Marley was President, owner, and operated Shroyer
Implement for over 50 years. He was a life long businessman, farmer and
resident of Clark County. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law,
Ted Shroyer and friend Julie Huddleston of Celina, Carl & Billie Shroyer of
New Carlisle; grandchildren, Paul & Christy Shroyer of Celina, Carle & Chris
Pope of Greenville, Cory Shroyer of New Carlisle; great grandchildren,
Carson & Callie Pope, Olivia Shroyer; brother and sister-n-law, Homer and
Dixie Shroyer of Columbus; a sister, Thelma Neff of Fairborn; good friend
and caregiver, Ann (Roe) Shepherd of Vandalia; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (McClay)
Shroyer on July 8, 2000; brothers, Verlie & Thurman Shroyer; sisters, Mary
Bair, Luella Baker, Naomi Layman; grandson, Lee Shroyer. Funeral services
were held Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ed Ellis officiating.
Burial followed in New Carlisle Cemetery.
