KESSLER, LOIS H. (HOFFMAN) - Lois H. (Hoffman) Kessler, 88, died on Sept. 15, 2008 at Shell Point Village in Ft. Myers, Fla.  Lois formerly lived in Tipp City and Sanibel, Fla.  She and her late husband, Robert Kessler, owned the Grandview Service Station and were one time partners in Favorite Insurance Agency in Tipp City.  She was active in the Tipp City Women's Club, Garden Club and United Methodist Church.  In Florida she was a volunteer for Captiva Library the Chapel by the Sea, Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Pirates Playhouse and Shell Point Library.  Lois is survived by her son, Steve Kessler, her daughter, Abby Bowling; granddaughter and husband Amy and Drew Hackenberger, all of Tipp City and a sister, Rose Timmer of Ft. Myers, Fla.  A memorial service will be held Oct. 1 in Florida.  A graveside service for family and friends will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Drive, Dayton.  Friends and family are invited to an open house 4-7 p.m. Oct. 15 at 861 Hawthorne Drive.  Donations may be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
