SKENES, FREDERICK - Frederick Skenes, 81 of Kiser Lake,
formerly of West Milton & Covington, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008
at Piqua Manor. He was born Nov. 25, 1926 in Montgomery County. He was
preceded in death by his parents Irvin Roscoe & Clara Luella (Young) Skenes,
daughter Becky, brother Charles & a sister Violet Saxton. He is survived by
his wife Viktoria (Kaupt) Skenes, 9 step-grandchildren, 3
step-great-grandchildren & a sister Mabel Cook. He was a member of West
Milton Masonic Lodge #577 F & AM, & retired from the State Highway Patrol.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral
Home, West Milton, with Pastor Kerry Baker officiating. Burial followed at
Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.
