SWAFFORD, DONALD E.
- Donald E.
Swafford, age 72 of Ludlow Falls, passed away
Friday, May 9, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He
was preceded in death by his wife Viola, parents
Jack and Vola Marie Swafford, and sisters Mary
Harvey and Debbie Edwards. He is survived by his
son Michael Swafford, daughter-in-law Karen
Swafford, granddaughters Megan and Mallory Swafford,
nephew Charles Lambert. Also surviving are his
sisters and brothers-in-law Betty & Chester Allen,
Oregonia, OH, Ruth & Terry Liendecker, Midlothian,
VA, brothers Harold Swafford, Lewisport, KY, Robert
Swafford, Crossville, TN, Lester Swafford,
Clarkrange, TN, brother-in-law Tim Edwards, Hampton,
VA, 17 nieces & nephews, 22 great nieces & nephews,
9 great great nieces & nephews. Swafford retired
from Quality Beer Distributing (Strohs) after 31
years of service. Funeral services will be held
Thursday, May 15, 10:30 a.m., at the Hale-Sarver
Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton. Rev.
Nancy Cook will officiate with interment following
at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will
receive friends from 5-8 p.m. tonight at
Hale-Sarver. If so desired, contributions may be
made to the American Lung Association.
