PITTS, DOLLIE I. (NEE: BODIKER) - Dollie I. Pitts, age 94 of Tipp City, died Friday, June 20 at the Dayview Care Center, New Carlisle. She was born Aug. 13, 1913 in Brandt, to Virl and Elenora (Babbington) Bodiker. She was retired from Spring Hill Nurseries and a former member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary in Tipp City. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ervin "Idaho" Pitts, in 1993, sons Harvey and William Pitts; brothers, Virl and Ralph Bodiker; and sisters Goldie and Edna. Surviving are her daughter Doris Stump, Tipp City; one brother Roger and his wife Clara Bodiker, West Milton; sisters Mary Polhamus, Lockington, and Lucille Burke, Troy. Grandchildren Dan Stump, Kathleen Chasteen, Debbie Herbert, Tracy Compos, and Michelle James; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Funeral services were held Monday June 23 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial followed in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
