KINGREY, CHARLES M. - Charles M. Kingrey Sr., 87 of Troy,
died Sunday, Feb. 3. He was born April 7, 1920 in Bradford, IL to Shirley
E. and Hazel (Zimmerman) Kingrey, Sr. Charles was a 1939 graduate of
Elizabeth High School. He was a retired dairy farmer, a member of the Cove
Springs Church, Troy; Cove Springs Grange, American Dairy Farmer's
Association, the Farm Bureau and a 4-H advisor for 10 years. He was
preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Mary Kingrey, his first
wife Vivian Jo Kingrey, brothers Shirley Kingrey Jr. and Howard Kingrey and
grandson Jeff Kingrey. Surviving are his wife of 27 years Margaret
(Middletown) Kingrey; his sons Charles and his wife Carmen Kingrey, Jr.,
Versailles; Wayne and his wife Wanda Kingrey, West Milton; Mark and his wife
Patricia Kingrey, Troy, OH. Stepchildren Robert Lee Wolfe, Norfolk, VA and
Mary J. Wolfe, Troy. His sister Virginia Baxley, NC and brothers Harold and
his wife Ruby Kingrey, Covington; Samuel Kingrey, Tipp City; and J. Wesley
and his wife Sandy Kingrey, NC. Thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great
grandchildren. Funeral services 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Frings and
Bayliff Funeral Home in Tipp City with pastor Evan Garber officiating with
burial in New Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home with Cove Springs Grange services at 5 p.m. Contributions may
be made to Hospice of Miami County in Charles name.
