ARMITAGE, IRENE (SUE) - Irene (Sue) Armitage, 52 of West Milton, passed away in her home on May 9, 2008. She was born in Lexington, Ky. on Feb. 4, 1956. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Armitage, and father John Henry Bailey. Armitage is survived by her mother, Vonnie DePaul (Sparks) of Tipp City; daughters and sons-in-law Rhonda and Kevin Cavender of Sidney and Leslie and Chris Ward of Sidney, 5 grandchildren-Jessica Block, Chelsea Cavender, Taylor Block, Austin Ward, and Allyson Ward. Also surviving her brothers, Curtis Bailey of Florida and David Bailey of Kentucky and sisters, Ima Manns of Tipp City and Ruie Werts of Dayton. She retired after 22 years from Trimble. Services were held at the Hale-Sarver Funeral on Wednesday May 14 with the Rev. Dan Williams officiating. Burial followed at Royal Oak Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
