BERGMAN, HERBERT R. - Oct. 27, 1918-Nov. 11, 2003 - Herbert
R. Bergman, age 85, of Maria Stein, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, at his
residence after a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 27, 1918 in Osgood, to
the late August and Emma (Brandewie) Bergman. He was the owner and operator
of Wayne Tool Company. He is survived by wife, Velma; children, JoAnn
Kunkler of Carthagena, Thomas Bergman of Beaumont, Texas, Dorothy and Donald
Wilker of Dayton, Mildred and John Heitkamp of Tipp City, Michelle and Gary
Paulus of Vandalia, Ted and Sarah Bergman of Maria Stein, Theresa Bergman of
Richland, WA, Janet and Kris Darr of St. Mary's, and Jon and Julie Bergman
of Maria Stein; siblings Evelyn Kunkler of New Weston, Art and Ann Bergman
of Maplewood; sister-in-laws Wilma and Lester Wynk of Osgood, and Barbara
Winner of Osgood; 41 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by daughter, Jean Bergman; brother-in-law Donald Kunkler; sister
Verena Grillot; brothers Lester and Virgil; and 3 grandchildren. Burial is
in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials to Community
Hospital Home Nursing Care.
