CORBIN, GLADYS (DRILL) - Gladys (Drill) Corbin, a member of First United Methodist Church of Troy, died Nov. 12 at Harborside Healthcare.  She was 97.  Mrs. Corbin of Troy was her church's former assistant treasurer and the former secretary and treasurer of United Methodist Women Circles.  She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star 256 of Troy and a charter member of the American Association of University Women.  She was a former business education teacher with Bethel Local schools, former secretary in Greenville and Columbus and, with her late husband, owned and operated the Corbin Markets in Troy.  She was a valedictorian of Greenville High School, a graduate of Bowling Green State University and the first female Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio State University's College of Commerce and Administration.  Survivors include a daughter, Alice Corbin of Austerlitz, N.Y.; a son, William Corbin of Greenville; a sister, Esther Krabill of Toledo; and one grandchild.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to First Place, c/o First United Methodist Church, 110 W.
