SWARTZEL, MRS. NETTIE - Mrs. Nettie Swartzel, 76, formerly
of Vandalia, more recently of 6415 Country Estates Drive, died October 26 in
Grandview Hospital, Dayton. Surviving are three sons, Robert of Tipp City;
Marvin of Vandalia; Jack of Dayton; a foster-son, Edward Heffner of Florida;
a sister, Mrs. Elva Steed of New Vienna; a brother, Dale Shingledecker of
Oregon; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Swartzel was a member of the First Baptist
Church in Vandalia, Internation Sunshine Club and Mother's Club of Dayton.
Services were October 29 at Morton Funeral Home, Vandalia. Burial was in
Polk Grove Cemetery.
