BROWN, IRMA - The Reverend David Matevia, pastor of the First Lutheran Church in Troy officiated at funeral services Tuesday afternoon for Irma G. Brown, 94, a native of Brandt and a member of a pioneer family. Miss Brown, who died Saturday evening in the Piqua Memorial Hospital, had lived in recent years at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was, for a number of years, a resident of Troy. Miss Brown, the daughter of Hiram and Harriet Gantz Brown, was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Sylvia Brown, Velma Bechtolt, Glendora Shroyer and Maude Bechtolt. Survivors include her nieces, Mrs. Fleta Zollars and Mrs. Esther Campbell, both of Bethel Township. Services were held at the Deeter-Baird Funeral Home in Troy with burial in the Bethel Cemetery at Phoneton.
