EVANS, MRS. MINNIE E. RODGERS - Mrs. Minnie E. Rodgers Evans, 89, 323 S. Fifth St., Tipp City, died Sunday morning in the Vallerie Nursing Home in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Evans. Surviving are six sons, Raymond D. Rodgers of Dayton, George M. Evans of Dayton, Robert F. Evans of Indiana, Jesse L. Evans of Tipp City, Carl E. Evans of Troy, William E. Evans of California; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen M. Trost; 3 brothers, Thomas, Clyde & Elmer Anderson; 2 sisters, Ella Klopf and Lilly Clawson. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Tipp City and the D&A Lodge. She was retired from the Dolly Toy Company. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home in Tipp City. Rev. Wallace Clingan officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
