MOWEN, LORENA - Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at the Neeld Funeral Home in Xenia for Lorena C. Mowen, 66, of 1708 E. Huffman Avenue in Dayton. She is the mother of Arthur L. Mowen, 7050 Pisgah Road. Mrs. Mowen passed away on Monday evening. Final rites were conducted by the Rev. Dorwin C. Snyder with burial in Cowan Creek Cemetery in Clinton County. In addition to Mr. Mowen, other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Evans of Phoenix, Arizona and Mrs. Lorena J. Hetzel of Dayton; four other sons, Charles F. Gorman of Dayton, Cecil F. Gorman of Springvalley, Cal., Robert L. Mowen of Palm Beach, Fla. and Lawrence T. Mowen of Dayton; three sisters; two brothers; 17 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
