DAVIS, MRS. CARRIE - Friends here have received word recently of the death of Mrs. Carrie Davis, 91, former Tipp City resident who died on July 4 at Tucson, Arizona. Mrs. Davis was born June 19, 1882. She had spent many years in Tipp City where her husband, the late Dave Davis, at one time owned and operated the coal yard on North Fourth Street. For over 20 years, Mrs. Davis had resided with her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart (Jean) Davis of Tucson, Arizona, at 2700 East Hedrick Drive. Surviving are three sons, Ron, Don and Stewart, all of Tucson; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Howell of California, Mrs. Maude Webster of Florida, and Louise of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren. Services were held at the Deirs Valley Funeral Home with burial at the Tucson Memorial Park, East Lawn.
