ASHLEY, CHARLES WILLIAM - Charles William Ashley, 42, 120 Kent Road passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 21 from an apparent heart attack. He was the meat department manager of the Big Star Market at Fairborn. Survivors include his wife, Janice; one son, David, at home; his mother, Mrs. William Ashley of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Glenn Tomlinson of Florida and Mrs. Helen Thacker of Virginia; four brothers, Robert of Pennsylvania, Raymond stationed with the U.S. Armed Forces in Germany, Walter and Brownie of Virginia. The Reverend Fred Mark will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday. The family requests that contributions be made to the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.
