THOMPSON, MRS. L. H.
- Mrs. L. H. Thompson, a former
citizen of Troy, died at her home just south of Vandalia at 8 a.m.
Saturday. She had been an invalid since the death of a daughter several
years ago and death resulted from a complication of diseases of a nervous
nature. She was about 69 years of age. She and her husband lived in Troy
many years the latter being in the dry goods business. She was highly
regarded and her death brings a feeling of sadness to her many friends. She
is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. L. A. Pool of Troy, Mrs.
Dr. Lane and Howard Thompson of Dayton and Addison Thompson of Jamestown,
N.Y. Dr. W. R. Thompson of Troy is a brother of Mr. Thompson. The funeral
services were held at the chapel in Woodlawn Cemetery in Dayton at 2 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. W. H. Wehrly, her former
pastor. Burial was at Woodlawn beside her daughter.
