Thomas Robison
Another pioneer of Ohio has passed away, one that was born and raised here. On Sunday evening at 8 o'clock Thomas Robison died at his residence on North Broadway of congestion of the lungs, aged 88 years, having been born in Hamilton county, May 15, 1801. He came to Springcreek township, Miami county in 1834. In 1839 he married Martha Crowthers who still survives him, with three children, John G., James A., and Mrs. Jos. Wiley. For seventeen years he had been a resident of Piqua, owning the beautiful property at the junction of Broadway and the St. Mary's pike.  The funeral takes place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock form his late residence he loved so well. Rev. J. W. Kerr officiates.
