Receives Word of Relatives Demise

L. O. Thompson, son and family are in receipt of word telling of the death of Mr. Dais Crampton of Greenville. Mr. Crampton has been ill for the past several months as the result of a stroke of paralysis. He was born and reared in the Circle Hill community and has been a farmer practically all of his life, having retired from his farm and moved to Greenville just last March. Mr. Crampton had reached the age of 67 years. No children came to bless the home of Mr. Crampton and his devoted wife, Hetty Marshall Crampton, but they reared as their own, a niece Mary Thompson Waymire and a nephew Joseph Thompson, following the death of their mother. Another nephew, Albert Thompson of Pleasant Hill also lived with his uncle and aunt a part of the time, following the mother's death. It can truly be said that he lived a full and useful life of good influence on those who came in contact with him and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the residence in Greenville followed by services at the Mennonite Church in Greenville. Burial will be made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
