Mrs. Rebecca Flory Dies On Thursday

Mrs. Rebecca Flory passed away at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon at her home south of Pleasant Hill, after a decline in health during the past two years following an operation. All that loving care could do was done for her recovery but she answered the call of her Master she had so faithfully served and passed peacefully away. She was born and reared near Laura and prior to her late residence near Pleasant Hill had lived for several years southwest of Covington.

Her kindly disposition and sincere interest in others won for her a large circle of devoted friends, who with her family will sadly miss her.

Her survivors besides her devoted husband, J. W. Flory, include one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Cornor Maurer of Dayton, one son, Charles Cornor of Covington, two step sons, Carol Flory, of Covington and Jack Flory of Indianapolis, Ind., one brother Joseph Penny of New Paris, six sisters, Mrs. William H. Puff, of Covington, Mrs. Harvey Russell of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Ola Gunckel, Mrs. I. W. Rohiff and Mrs. Clark Sullivan of Dayton, and Mrs. Thomas Morrow of Cincinnati, five grandchildren, Magaret Jean and Joseph Cornor, of Covington, Sarah Jane, Dorothy Ann and Clark Maurer of Dayton and one step granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Flory Shellabarger and one step great granddaugther Judith Shellbarger, both of Covington.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, 1:00 o'clock at the home and 2:00 o'clock at the Laura Congregational Christian Church of which she was a member, with Rev. Chas. F. McKee of Dayton officiating. Interment will be made in Old Ludlow Cemetery.
