Mrs. Elizabeth McConnell

Elizabeth Halowell, daughter of Mary and William Halowell, was born in Juniata, Co., Pa., Sept% 21, 1864 and departed this life in her home in West Covington, Ohio, Oct. 14, 1937, making her earthly pilgrimage a few days more than 73 years.

On May 11, 1884 she was united in marriage to Simeon McConnell. To this union nine children were born. One died in infancy and one, Ida Supinger died May 10, 1927.

Early in life Mrs. McConnell became a Christian and united with the Church of the Brethren. Her Christian experience was such that she was confident in the Grace of her Lord and devoted to the church.

There are left to mourn her passing: her children: Joe of Detroit, Mich.; Abe, Mrs. L. E. Ward, Mrs. Ora Cruea, all of Troy; Mrs. John Forsythe and I. J. McConnell, of West Covington; Mrs. Lloyd Alspaugh of West Milton, 27 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, four half brothers, one half sister, two sisters-in-law, besides other relatives and many friends.
