Edna Laurel Stahl was born Feb. 11, 1885, in Newberry Township, Miami Co., Ohio 2 miles west of Covington. She was the daughter of Adam and Maria Stahl (Deceased several years ago in Los Angeles, California.)
She was graduated from Bradford High School in 1905 after which she was employed in the Bradford Post Office.
Oct. 27, 1909 she was united in marriage to Frank Vannoy of Covington. To this union six children were born.
Since her marriage she has always lived in Covington, save for the two years she lived near Houston, Ohio.
Early in her girlhood she became a member of the Church of the Brethren and has lived in devotion to their faith in Christ.
Mrs. Vannoy departed this life early in the morning of September 2nd, being of the age of 49 yrs, 6 months, and 21 days.
Surviving are her husband Mr. Frank Vannoy, her children, Franklin, Mrs. Art Pope, Ruth, Grant, Esther, and Mary, beside two brothers: Forrest and Luther Stahl of Los Angeles, California.
