Death claimed the life of a young wife and mother Wednesday evening at Wilson Memorial Hospital when Mrs. Gladys Hetzler Middleton, 38, wife of Charles Middleton, died following a few days illness. Mrs. Middleton was stricken with an intestinal obstruction Sunday while in attendance at a reunion of the Anderson family. Her condition became serious the following day and she was removed to the hospital here for treatment. The deceased had spent her entire life in this community born in Green Township a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hetzler, now residents of Bradford. She was one of three daughters, her two surviving sisters are; Mrs. Marion Hagerman, of Piqua, and Mrs. Cecil Potter, of Mt. Vernon. Her marriage to Charles Middleton took place on March 9, 1922 and they established their home on a farm in Green township. Her husband survives with three daughters, Thelma, aged 11 years, Arlene, 8 years, and Merlin Jean, 6 years. Funeral services will be held at two-thirty o'clock Friday afternoon from the Spring Creek Christian Church, of which the deceased had been a devout member. Burial will be made at the Fletcher cemetery.
