Mrs. Sybil Wiley, 83, wife of Harve M. Wiley, died in her country home in Orange township Saturday morning at one-forty o'clock following an illness of a year with paralysis. The deceased was a daughter of William and Laura Carroll and was born in Mercer county on September 30, 1855. She was married twice during her life, her marriage with Daniel G. Denman solemnized on September 18, 1879. His death occurred on December 24th, 1889. She was united in marriage on November 27, 1907, with Harve M. Wiley, who survives with her son, Charles Denman, of this city. One son Alfred Denman, of Sidney, preceded her in death, having passed away in 1930. In her family to survive with her husband and one son, are eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Miller, of Piqua. During most of her life Mrs. Wiley resided in this community, and was very well known. Funeral rites will be conducted at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the home and burial will be in the Plattsville cemetery. Friends may call at the home at any time on Monday.
