Aged Covington Lady Expires Following Stroke. Was Unconscious For Ten Days. Mrs. S. O. Rench, 77, widow of the late Cicaro Schaurer, whose maiden name was Fannie Huntzberger, passed away this morning at 5:00 o'clock at her home on North High Street, following a stroke about ten days ago which rendered her unconscious until her death. She has been an invalid for the most part of her life having suffered with heart trouble often, but has been worse the last two years and suffered her first stroke a month or so ago. She was born and reared in Concord township, east of Pleasant Hill and after marriage with Mr. Schaurer resided in Newton Township on the farm just south of the J. N. Arendall farm, later moving to her present home in this vicinity. She was a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren and attended regularly when her health would permit. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Clyde Schauer of Covington, Chas. Schauer of Cincinnati and Rollie Lynn of Richwood, Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Richardson and Mrs. Mahlon Weikert of this vicinity by former marriages and one sister. Mrs. Amanda Palsgrove and Mrs. Lyman Ebersole a niece, both of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Hettie Hershey preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the Church of the Brethren at 2:00, Rev. C. F. McKee and Rev. O. P. Williams officiating. Interment in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Routzahn Brothers Funeral Directors.
