Retired Van Buren Township Farmer Dies at Home on West George St., In Neighboring Village Friday Evening. Word was received here today of the death of William Weaver, ?0 year old, prominent retired Van Buren Township farmer, at his home on West George Street, Arcanum early Friday evening. Mr. Weaver had been in poor health for several years, and his illness caused his retirement three years ago. Since then he had resided in Arcanum. The deceased was widely known in Arcanum and vicinity. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Stutz of Richmond, Indiana; several grandchildren, and three sisters. The Rev. N. L. Linebaugh, pastor of the Arcanum United Brethren Church, officiated at the funeral services Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the late residence. Burial was made in Abbottsville cemetery.
