Mrs. Rose Mae Wilson, 73, wife of E. Stanley Wilson of St Mary's road, died at 9:30 am today at Piqua Memorial hospital where she submitted to major surgery Thursday afternoon, following a month's illness. Born April 20, 1870, in Preble county near Brookville, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Jane Sackett Carver. She had passed her entire life in Shelby and Miami county and had resided on the farm on the St Mary's road since 1930. She was a member of the Congregational Christian church and active in the Crescent class. She was married July 13, 1905. She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Herman Edge (Mary); a niece Mrs. Rodney Anglebarger, whom she reared; two grandchildren, Charles and James Edge, all residing on the St Mary's road; a sister, Mrs. Milt Pontius of Brookville, and two great nephews, Francis Anglebarfier and Paul Spitler. Rev. Norman Gutry will officiate at services Sunday afternoon, 2:30 at the Congregational Christian church. Friends may call Saturday afternoon and evening at the home on the St Mary's Pike.
