Fletcher, April 15 - Following an illness of eight and a half years, Mrs. Violet Reeder, 46, died at her home south of this village at 6:45 pm Sunday. The daughter of Perry A. and Dora Voress Howell, she was born January 28, 1900 and was united in marriage to Lester Reeder July 19, 1917. She had resided in this community since her marriage. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Gail only recently returned from Army service in Germany and Harold, also a veteran of World War II; her mother, Mrs. Dora Howell; four granddaughters; a brother, Walter Howell of Route 2, Sidney. A son Robert, died September 24, 1937. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Suber Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester Schlecty officiating, burial to be in Fletcher cemetery. Friends may call at the Reeder residence tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Violet M. Reeder, 46, native of Shelby county, passed away at her home two miles south of Fletcher Sunday evening shortly before 7 o'clock. She had been ill eight and a half years with complications. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 pm from the Suber Funeral home, Fletcher, in charge of Rev Lester Schlechty. Burial will be made in the Fletcher cemetery. Friends may call at the Reeder residence until Wednesday noon. She was born January 16, 1900, in Shelby county, the daughter of Perry A. and Dora Voress Howell. Her mother survives. July 19, 1917, she was married to Lester Reeder who survives with two children, Gail Reeder who returned from Germany last week where he served with the army, and Harold Reeder, recently discharged from the navy. One son Robert, died in 1937. There are four granddaughters. A brother is Walter Howell, R R 2, Sidney; Mrs. Carl Archer and Mrs. Bowen Elsner, of near Sidney, are sisters.
