Asbury W Wilson, 78, owner of the former Wilson Chemical Company in Sidney, died Tuesday night at his home, 2071 Iuka Avenue, Columbus. Rites will be held in that city Friday at 2 pm from the Indianola Lutheran church with the Rev. E. Randolph Walburn officiating. Burial will be made in Union Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the Aubern A. Shroyer funeral home, 4221 North High Street, Columbus. Wilson, a native of the Covington community, spent the years from 1901 to 1919 in Sidney, leaving in 1919 to go to Columbus. He owned the Wilson Chemical company here, and the family resided of West avenue. They were members of the Sidney Methodist church during their residence here. After moving to Columbus, Wilson was an employee of the Columbus Dispatch for 16 years, retiring in 1937. His widow, the former Myrtle Yost, whom he married September 20, 1890, survives; in 1940 they were privileged to spend their golden wedding anniversary together. There is one daughter, Mrs. Walton B Bliss, 2080 Iuka Avenue, Columbus.
