Mrs. Hannah Moore, 98 years, one of the oldest residents of Miami County, died early Thursday afternoon at Fletcher; after an illness of three months. Heart trouble was attributed as the cause of her death. She was born in Lostcreek, and spent her entire life in or near Fletcher. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Subel, at whose home she passed away. Mrs. Moore was the widow of John Moore, and was a member of Charity Chapel Christian Church near Lena. No near relatives survive her. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday afternoon from the Suber Funeral Home at Fletcher. Rev. B. F. Jones will officiate and will be assisted by Rev. R. L. Thornburg. Burial in Fletcher Cemetery.

Services for lifelong resident of county will be held at Fletcher Saturday. Mrs. Hannah Moore, 98, one of the oldest residents of Miami county, widow of John Moore, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Suber in Fletcher about noon Thursday. She had been ailing for several months. Infirmities of age were assigned as the cause of her death. Mrs. Moore was the last surviving member of her family. She was born in the vicinity of Lena and Conover and her entire life was spent in Miami county. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Caroline Howland. For the last three or four years she had resided in the Suber home where she was cared for in last illness. She was a member of the Charity Chapel Christian church and active in its work as long as her health permitted. She was widely known throughout the county as one of its oldest and most respected residents. Mrs. Moore leaves no immediate family. Misses Mary and Ruth Hartley, Alonzo Hartley and E. S. Whitmore of this city are grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons several years ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock either at the Suber residence or at the Suber funeral home in Fletcher. Burial will be made in the Fletcher cemetery.
