Eunice Miller
Eunice Miller was born July 31, 1855 and departed this life November 29, 1932 at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 28 days. She was the devoted and faithful wife of Anthony Miller, who preceded her in death in 1907. They were united in marriage in November 1871 living happily and peacefully together for 36 years. For 14 years they resided in Bradford. Later moving to their farm two miles east of that village, and in 1917 moved to Covington, where she lived until the time of her death.
She took seriously ill October 29th and on November 1st under went an operation at Memorial Hospital, Piqua, for a hernia, being removed home November 8th where she lingered until the Master saw fit to call her home. She was loving and kind throughout it all, sleeping her last hours away peacefully. She was a lover of home, confining herself closely there. In early life she attended the Christian Sunday School and Church at Pleasant Hill, Ohio, but in later years remained much at home, always trusting her life to the Lord.
She leaves to mourn their loss, five sons, three daughters, thirty one grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one sister, a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Three sons, eight sisters and three brothers have gone before to welcome her to the great and beautiful home the Lord prepares for all. Those surviving are; Franklin T. of Logansport Ind., Wm. O. of Los Angeles, Calf., John J. of Covington, O., Edgar of Fulton, Ind., Earl Ray of Pleasant Hill, O.,Pearl Mae of Urbana, O., Grace of Covington, O., and Orpha C. who resided with the mother, walking side by side with her until she was called away.
