George S. Clouse was born in Van Wert county, near Ohio City, on October 7th, 1866. He departed from his earthly life on Monday morning, April 11th, 1932, having reached the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 4 days. In 1887 he was united in marriage with Etta M. Smith, who along with the following children survive; Charles E. Clouse who lives on an enjoining farm; Mrs. Ella May Zimmerman of Covington, R. F. D.; Mrs. Edna E. Martin of Piqua, R. F. D.; and Michael R. Clouse of Piqua. There are twelve grandchildren. The following brothers and sisters also survive; William Clouse, Oscar Clouse, and Mrs. Sarah Harrison, all of Ohio City, Ohio. Along with these near relatives there are many more distant relatives and a large circle of friends who are made sad over his death. Some twenty years ago, Mr. Clouse moved from Ohio City, and settled on a small farm east of Polo. Here he lived until his death. For many years he had....... (clipping cut off...)
