Mary A. Reck, youngest daughter of J. G. and Harriet Pearson Wagner, was born in Covington, Ohio, March 30, 1880, and passed all her life here except the first nine months of her married life, during which she lived in West Milton, Mendon, and Middletown, Ohio. She received her education in the Covington public school graduating in 1898 and in Wittenberg College graduating with the class of 1900. She was united in marriage with J. Lewis Reck April 26, 1904. To them one child was born, Lloyd Wagner Reck, who also resides in Covington. Mrs. Reck was a member of the Covington Congregational Church, the Philathen Sunday School Class, the Atheneum literary Club, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her genial disposition and kind and loving spirit bound many to her and made her a favorite among her associates. She answered the final summons Sunday evening July 17th, leaving her husband, her son, and one grandson, one sister; Mrs. Con F. Drees also of Covington.
