Henry Worley, was born March 1st, 1861, departed this life Feb. 10, 1932. Aged 70 Years, 11 months and 10 days. He was one of a family of 9 children all of whom have preceded him in death. He was a son of Akis and Lyda Worley and grew to manhood on the old home farm north of Covington, on April 5th, 1885 he was united in marriage to Loretta G. Ebberts with whom he loved happily for over 45 years, when death called him home. To this union was born eight children, five sons and three daughters, one son having preceded him in infancy to the Great Beyond. Those remaining are Mrs. Dora Hershey, south of Pleasant Hill, Albert Worley, north of Covington, Bertha Roth of Bradford, John Worley of Covington, Perry Worley of Troy, Talmage Worley of Piqua, Goldie VanKirk of Piqua, and fourteen grandchildren. He was a member of North Clayton Christian Church and died in the triumph of a living faith in God. He was a loving husband and father, a kind neighbor always ready to help anyone in need. He leaves to mourn his passing a loving wife, seven children, 14 grandchildren, and many relatives and friends whose loss is his eternal gain. He died as he had lived quietly as one who wraps the drapery of his couch about him and lieth down to pleasant dreams. The bereaved family wish to express their kind words of appreciation to all those who have helped them during the sickness and death of their beloved father.
