Local Man Dies Suddenly Sunday Morning Rites Arranged For Wednesday Morning. Mr. J. L. Webster, prominent resident of Covington passed away very suddenly at his home on E. Broadway, Sunday morning at the age of 81 years. The body was discovered about 9 o'clock by neighbors who summoned Dr. H.W. Kendell who stated that death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. Although Mr. Webster's death came very unexpectedly he had been in failing health for some time. The deceased was an active and devout member of the Congregational Christian Church where he capably filled the office of deacon. One sister Mrs. Ella Robinson of Van Wert is the only immediate survivor of the deceased. Four nieces, Mrs. C. G. Church of Van Wert, Mrs. C. E. Sherman of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Minette Shumway of York, and Mrs. William Vinning of Fulton and a large number of friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Congregational Christian Church with Rev. W. A. Freeman officiating. Burial will be made at York Cemetery near Mansfield beside the wife, Mrs. Mary Webster who passed away in 1918.
