Lewis H. Hoover, son of Mrs. Rozelda Hoover passed away at the General Hospital in Los Angeles, California on April 6th following a brief illness of 5 days. Death was due to pneumonia. He was 3? years of age. Mr. Hoover was employed as auditor in the main office of the relief association in Los Angeles at the time of his illness. The deceased is an ex-service man and served as assistant Chaplain during the World War. He was a devout member of the Church of the Brethren, a member of the American Legion, and was affiliated with the Masonic Lodge. Surviving besides the mother, Mrs. Rozelda Hoover, is one brother Mr. O.L. Hoover of Sugar Grove, his father, Rev. David E. Hoover passed away 18 years ago. The body was cremated and the remains were shipped to the members of the family here. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 o'clock at the Church of the Brethren at Garret, Indiana and burial will be made in the cemetery there near the Hoover homestead.
