Mother Of Covington Resident Dies In Bradford. Funeral Services Tuesday. Mrs. Sadie Crowell, mother of Mr. Ivan Crowell of S. Main St., passed away at her home in Bradford Saturday morning. She was 50 years of age. Mrs. Crowell is well known and has many friends in this community, having formerly resided west of Pleasant Hill. She was a devout member of the Methodist Church in Bradford. Surviving the deceased is the husband Mr. Oscar Crowell and four sons, Orville, Chalmer and Emery of Bradford, and Ivan of Covington; three brothers, Charles Shimp of Greenville, Clem Shimp of Versailles, and Ray Shimp of Webster; three sisters, Mrs. Merle Bucholtz, Mrs. Lulu Gardner and Miss Goldie Shimp all residing in Bradford. Several grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bradford Methodist Church with Rev. H.C. Colliflower and Rev. S.E. Porter officiating. Interment will be made in the Harris Creek Cemetery.
