Mariah Yount
Passes Away Sunday Eve
Mrs. Mariah Yount Passes Away Unexpectedly Sunday Afternoon of Heart Disease. Mrs. Mariah Yount, passed away unexpectedly at her home at 228 N. Pearl St. Sunday night at 11:15 o'clock. Mrs. Yount had been suffering from a heart disorder and was bedfast for the past three weeks although her condition was not thought to be dangerous. She was 76 years of age. Mrs. Yount, widow of William Yount, who died 12 years ago was well known with a wide acquaintance within the community. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren and active member of the Heart to Heart Class. Surviving the deceased are two daughters, Mrs. Jack Sarver of Covington, and Mrs. Lucile Shafer of Piqua, and four sons, Warren and Lon of Piqua, Joe of Troy, and Fred of Ft. Sill, Okla. Three sisters Mrs. W. K. Young of Pitsburg, Mrs. Noah Weikel of Dayton, and Mrs. Ray Klinger of Brookville; two brothers, Joe Tobias of Cincinnati and Henry Tobias of Anderson, Ind. Funeral arrangements are not complete as the family is awaiting word from the son in Oklahoma.
